Every bit of warming matters; Every year matters; Every choice matters.
And every action matters.
United Nations 2022

This event is brought to you by the League of Women Voters, Larimer County Environmental Action
Team and hosted by the Pollinator Habitat Group.

It is a family affair in Fossil Creek Park, Fort Collins and conveniently located between Loveland and
Fort Collins. Come early to Celebrate Earth Week on the sprawling grounds featuring a prehistoric
theme playground for the kids and grandchildren; relax under the Oval Pavilion while overlooking a
nature area home to waterfowl and magnificent birds; and pack a picnic & join us along with your
family, friends, and neighbors.

Our speakers will begin at 6:00 p.m. to facilitate a climate conversation leading us toward hope for
the future of our planet.

Featuring Dr. Emily Fischer, CSU representing Science Moms. www.sciencemoms.com, Madzie
Boyle, student of Geographic Information System Mapping, representing Pretty Brainy.
https://prettybrainy.com/, and Heidi Pruess, Larimer County Climate Smart & Sustainability Manager.

You will have the opportunity to talk to representatives from a variety of organizations that will
empower you to work on the climate issues facing our planet. “Every action matters”.
