The Consolidated Public Draft of O&G Regulations
Tuesday, June 15, 6:00 PM
The consolidated draft of the ongoing revision of the O&G rules was released on Friday, June 4.
A clean copy of the proposed rules can be found here, while a “redline” working edition showing the evolving state of the revisions can be viewed here. This draft will be discussed at length in an upcoming joint work session of the County Commissioners and the Larimer County Planning Commission. That will take place on Wednesday, June 9 at 6:00 PM, and a link to observe it can be found here.
The next critical date remains the Virtual Open House on Tuesday, June 15 at 6:00 PM, and the link to sign up to comment at that session can be found here. This is likely to be the last public comment event before the Planning Commission hearing on July 21 and the final hearing and vote on the regulations by the County Commissioners on July 26.
Please continue to show up for the Tuesday morning meetings
Of the County Commissioners,
Provide feedback directly to the County Planning Department,
And participate in the Open House on June 15!
Instructions for how to reach the Commissioners in person, by phone, or by email to offer your public comment can be found here. Comments can also be passed along to the Planning Department on this embedded link, or by direct email to Matt Lafferty at [email protected].
The Larimer Alliance has been providing critiques and guidance to the Commissioners and staff looking at some of the more technical aspects of the developing regulations. But the most effective testimony remains personal stories of how oil and gas development has affected you, your family, and your community.
Rallying family and friends to speak up
has never been more important as rulemaking
moves into final stages this month!
